Best driver ever! Mr.Kim will treat you like family and goes out of his way just to make your experience in Jeju a wonderful one. If you want a memorable experience, go with Mr. Kim. You will not be disappointed!
ReplyDeleteSamchoon means uncle, and he definitely treats you like family! Our airbnb was quite far from the city area, so he made sure we had dinner before we head back even tho it was already late for him. He makes sure u get the best deals and the most value for money meals ! You feel safe when he is driving. We had the best time with him.
ReplyDeleteMr. Kim is an excellent driver who is so helpful during our Jeju trip. He will always accomodate to your schedule, while adding in new places if you have extra time. Not only that, he brings you to the best and most value for money restaurants in Jeju. He will also help you take photos before leaving you alone to explore the attraction without rushing you. His taxi is always stocked up with amenities to ensure you have the best ride possible. He is also a very funny person and makes jokes all the time. We have so much fun while we were with him.

We spent two amazing days with Mr Kim, he greeted us with
ReplyDeleteenthusiasm, gave us Jeju Mandarin Oranges and souvenirs the moment we met.
He provided water as well.
He was very flexible with the route, and as I had my grandmother with us, he
suggested that she should stay in the taxi with him for certain places instead as there was a lot of walking (plus it was winter, so it was freezing!) He was very attentive to our safety and advised us not to rush too much, and move around in 'grandmother style'.
He's also a great photographer and even suggested poses for us to do, making it
even more fun. He gave us a few choices to decide for meals and the food that
we ate (1st day lunch: Black Pork noodles, 2nd day lunch: abalone hot stone)
was really good and cheap.
On the second day, as my mother wasn't feeling well, he drove us to the
pharmacy to get medications and even provided us with a hot water bottle.
He went out of his way to explain the culture of Jeju Island, including places such as the Seongeup Folk Village, and the work of the Haenyeos.
Overall, my family and I really enjoyed his company, and I would definitely look for Samchoon again when I return to Jeju! Thank you Samchoon~

Mr. Kim or "Samchoon" is an earnest proud Jeju native and credible, experienced tour guide that went above and beyond for my husband and I to enjoy Jeju. We had an absolutely wonderful time. There were so many details and stories throughout the day.
